26th - 28th October 2007

Hey, monster mash... Listen up!

"WHAT?"
Halloween monster make-up lab during Whitby Gothic Weekend, 2007.

Subjects will include examples taken from zombie / undead movies of the '80s, as well as one or two nasty surprises...

"HUH?"
It's a couple of hours of afternoon monster make-up demonstration, during the WGW. We call this a 'Monster Lab'. Come along and be entertained, while we uglify some poor soul with professional movie special effects make-up. We specialise in prosthetics, to create bleeding wounds, undulating pustules, monsters, freaks and the undead.

"WHERE?"
Resolution Hotel, 1 Skinner St. Whitby (Corner of Flowergate & Skinner St.)

"WHEN?"
12 O'Clock Midday on Saturday 27th October.

"HOW MUCH?"
Free!

"EH?"
That's right! There's no admission fee, but we aim to raise money for the Sophie Lancaster memorial bench, which will honour her memory and be placed near the Whale Bones at Whitby sea front. Her story shocked and upset us and this is our way of helping, so we'd be sincerely grateful, if you can make donations during the event.

Sophie Lancaster passed away on 24th August 2007, after she and boyfriend, Robert Maltby were brutally attacked. You can read more, by visiting the myspace account, maintained by members of her family.

We suggest a donation of £3. This is by no means obligatory, and whatever you can give will be appreciated.

"WHAT ELSE...?"
If you would like to become one of Blinding Horror's make-up models, please email us at: doctorvarney@blueyonder.co.uk with a picture and a brief explanation of why you want to become our monster/bitch/freak. The terribly, demanding requirements of this post are that you sit still for an hour, with your mouth shut, while we make you look like hell.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer payment to our models at this moment in time.
Remember - always read the small print!

PLEASE WATCH THIS SPACE FOR UPDATES
We look forward to seeing you there!

Please note: Blinding Horror is not affiliated in any way with WGW and Monster Labs are not an official WGW event.
